چکیده
The carbamate compounds are a class of cholinesterase-inhibiting pesticides (Farage-Elawar, 1990) and bendiocarb (2, 3-isopropyledene-dioxyphenyl methylcarbamate, BC) is the most widely used carbamate insecticide to control disease vectors (mosquitoes, flies, household and agricultural pests). Like other carbamate insecticides, BC is a reversible inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase (AChE). The blockage of AChE caused by BC persists for approximately 24 hours and, subsequently, the situation returns to normal because the insecticide does not accumulate in mammalian tissues (Siroťáková et al., 2005). However, concerning the exposure to BC it was observed that the substance can easily pass from mother to the developing embryo (Whyatt et al., 2003). Inhibition of AChE is linked with the pesticide mechanism of toxic action, irreversible or reversible bonding to the esteratic site of the enzyme and ABStrAct

retinoic acid is one of the derivatives of vitamin A.it is used for treatment of dermatitis, but it has different teratogenic effects on developing organs depending on the different stages of embryonic life.neural tube is made of two different parts:primary neural tube originated from embryo germinal layer and and secondary neural tube originated from tail bud.the persent study was designed to ...
متن کاملBody Weight and Malformations in Relation to Pesticide Embryotoxicity
Background: Bendiocarbamate is a carbamate insecticide, which belongs among the cholinesterase inhibitors. Cholinesterase inhibitors is a group of chemical compounds, which inhibits acetylcholine hydrolysis by acetylcholinesterase, thereby acetylcholine accumulates in the reactive locations of a living organism. Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate toxicity dose of bendiocarbamate...
متن کاملThe effect of chick embryo amniotic fluid on sciatic nerve regeneration of rats
The purpose of this experimental study was to evaluate the effect of chicken amniotic fluid (AF) on a cross section of rat sciatic nerves. Thirty adult male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 275 to 300 g, were randomized into three groups treated with (1) amniotic fluid or AF (n=10), (2) normal saline or NS (n=10), and (3) sham surgery (n=10). The AF was aspirated from the amniotic cavity of incubat...
متن کاملEffect of acute exposure to ethanol on distribution of NR1 subunit of NMDA receptor of glutamate in cerebral cortex of chick embryo
Introduction: There is considerable evidence that glutamate-mediated excitatory neurotransmission plays an important role in mediating the behavioral actions of acutely administered ethanol. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of acute ethanol exposure on NR1 subunit of NMDA (n-methyl-d-aspartate) receptor distribution in the cerebral cortex of chick embryo on the 10th...
